Quick Return Composting Workshop Sunday 27th July 2025 at Buttercup Meadow
Provides an insight into the 'Quick Return' method of composting and how to get maximum benefit out of available garden and kitchen waste resources. The course will also cover compost toilets, chicken assisted composting and other adaptations on the QR method.
The course Includes history, theories, types of bins, compostable materials, the system and methodology, using the compost and its effects. There will be a hands on part of the course where a QR compost heap will be constructed.
Cost includes light refreshments and free 10g packet of QR activator worth £6.95.
Runs from 10.00 am to 1.00pm.
